About This Listing

*Hello again world, this is a relisting from several years ago, but i'd ended the original before, as I suddenly had new vigor for organ parts in my tracks once the reality set in that it was time to actually let go. But, now, after a couple more years of squeezing organ tracks out of her, she has to go to another loving home/studio. So, my loss is your gain. Some recommended software & apps I currently use regularly with this unit: GSI VB3 original (my go-to), V2, or the iOS app version, Acoustic Samples' [incredible] B-5 & Super II (Vox model), Arturia's B3 V2, Farfisa & Vox-- unless you're on a budget or the stock rotary sims work for you, i recommend use of any of the aforementioned Hammond models with an external Leslie sim: Melda's MVintageRotary, PSI's Lotary, or IK Multimedia's Leslie® (T-Rack or Amplitube) are all equally authentic, but have a different character. --, or, the best for stage which includes the best internal rotary sim [Leslie®], Hammond B-3X (app or plugin) by IK Multimedia. My hardware recommendations (hands down the best hardware): the INCREDIBLE Keyboard Partner HX-3 through a worthy Sim (i have an original ventilator, but have lost my enthusiasm fir it after seeing beyond the hype & hearing the flaws, yet no hardware is BETTER). ⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ DO NOT TRY PAIRING THE Organic -161 WITH THOSE CHEAP WASTE OF MONEY JG-3 PEDALS; before they break AGAIN & he stops replying to your emails, they won't work (something inside their dollar store components won't permit it. ugh)! The FATAR MP-117 are proven & reliable with this unit. You can also connect a Crumar or Hammond-Suzuki halfmoon rotary switch & a secondary keyboard on top. Ask any questions now while she's in my possession, please! She has served me well 🥲 read on for the original listing:

You are reviewing one of the premier revolutionary concepts in organ midi controllers in the Organic 161. This unit is fashioned using actual Hammond organ components, so you don't have to guess at the feel or robustness of the implements. It produces no sound of its own and is strictly a MIDI controller needing a module like the Keyboard Partner HX3 to make use of it. This unit was gigged 3 times without a case hence  the veneer dings and slats (this doesn't affect functionality in the least and actually builds character... plus you don't have to worry about it getting it's first ding) then sat in my studio for tracking organ parts. It has served me well, but my music has shifted from organ use greatly, so she sits alone mostly. There is only one minor issue; when the 1' drawbar on Preset B is set BETWEEN 0 & 1 (a bit of a rare occurrence) , the MIDI data goes haywire in your plug-in until the drawbar is set to 0 or 1; i was going to have it addressed, but oir only keyboard tech passed on (RIP, Mr. C). This is another reluctant sell as there is no other controller that feels anywhere near as authentic ( this one was built from a pre WW2 keybed and drawbars(model A-CV). Everything was built from a Hammond organ saving the MIDI, USB, and in/out bits. You get two upper drawbar sets and 1 lower set (the two lower sets are configures to the same MIDI CC) plus everything else is laid out like the B3 and it feels... well... like a pre-WW2 model! Some of the keys are a bit noisy, but I believe it uses a pre war up/down stop felt which can be purchased online. The color loss on some of the drawbars is original and was retained from the factory to give it that vintage character you get from playing an old Hammond in an old church or club. The thing is a bit heavy, so shipping cost reflects this, but are subject to change with distance. Buyer to arrange freighting.

Make an offer!!!! Everything must go.
