This listing is for a modified Boss TR-2 effects pedal. *Free USPS Priority shipping for the next USA buyer!
The Boss TR-2 delivers a classic effect and is on many pedal boards around the world. I have heard people say “The TR-2 is one that Boss did right.”  I still have my original TR-2 from a long time ago. I have always kept it on my board because I prefer that natural, vintage sound.  Some folks don't realize this, but in some states it's a law: If you play live gigs, you have to play at least one Creedence song.   The original TR-2 has some minor issues: -There is a slight drop in volume when the effect is switched on. -The rate is a little limited. It would be nice to have more of a variety of ranges of speed. -The stock TR-2 can get a little noisy, especially when the band cranks up and you crank up with them.
Our mod takes care of those most important issues. You can step on it live with confidence! Key components are replaced with better quality metal film resistors and Panasonic capacitors, some folks refer to this as the "fidelity mod."  We have greatly reduced any unwanted noise. This TR-2 now has a fuller sound, and  there is no volume drop.
Just doing these things would have been good enough. I could have gone on to my next project. But if you know me, you know I just could not bring myself to let it go there. This TR-2 has two toggle switches that allow you to go beyond this pedal's normal range.  -One switch adds an extra dimension to the TR-2's depth and waveform, it works like a phat switch.  -The other switch gives you an option for faster speeds.       Our modified TR-2 also comes with the "flashing rate mod." This mod does not improve the sound. But your LED will now flash in time with the rate of your pedal! Of course now it has a new LED and will flash a very noticeable blue color. If you adjust the rate for faster or slower, well then your LED will flash faster or slower. It’s not just about looking cool (it does look cool). It really does help to have a visual monitor of how fast your rate is, as well as hearing how fast it is. Your LED is set to always let you know the speed of the rate even when you are not playing.
If you live in the USA, buy it now and you will be jammin' in 3 business days, because we are including free USPS Priority shipping!   “If you need a modded pedal or a pedal modded, we can make it happen. We make your sounds... sound good!"     Thanks for looking, and keep rockin!  Mike Check out all of our modified pedals on Reverb.   Here is a little surprise demo. I did all of these tracks on my Boss BR-1200 recorder a few years back. My daughter made fun of my drums.
Most folks already know our modified TR-2 sounds great with clean sounds. The guitar I played here lets you hear what our TR-2 sounds like with some distortion. Use your headphones!

The Boss TR-2 Tremolo will leave listeners wondering if you have a vintage tweed amp hidden in the backline with its dreamy slow flutter. It also has a few modern tricks up its sleeve, allowing you take tremolo tones to places they never went in the '50s and '60s.
