1987 Steinberger XP-24 String HEADLESS Bass Guitar!

This Bass is in Great Overall Condition,  that I consider to be way better than most.   Everything is pictured below, so there will be no surprises with this sale..  Buy with confidence!

There really isn't much for flaws on this guitar.  Just a few tiny chips pictured, and some light buckle rash that is hard to see.  Most of the visible play wear shows on the EMG and Steinberger lettering, and the pick guards shows some dulling.   There is extremely minimal discoloration on the black hardware.   The frets and finger board board show very light signs of play wear and are in no need of attention.   The back of the neck is also on excellent condition, with no real flaws to note (see pics).    There are some superficial marks, dings and very light scratches here and there, but nothing major (see pics).  This guitar is all original with the exception of strap lock buttons and possible the pots.  Im not 100% sure on the pots, because I have never saw one with this type of control set up.  The job appears to be factory, but the tone pot is stacked with 2 separate adjustments and a circuit board attached (look at the pics).  If their not original, it was definitely a change for the better.  This guitar was never broken, damaged or repaired.

If your a player or collector, this guitar is a great piece!  The neck has the usual and expected relief, and plays great..    It truly looks, sounds great!   Although, I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences.  If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility to have it set up to your liking..

 

The provided Steinberger Gig Bag is newer and not the original, but is in excellent condition.  It is used, but all zippers and handle operate properly. 

 

Everything operates as it should, and has never had, nor does it have any breaks, or repairs.
