This is a beautiful, vintage instrument designed by Leo Fender himself. It is the first 5-string model he rolled off the presses at G&L, and it is a truly unique guitar, featuring the rare "sickle" shaped headstock. I'm not sure if 1985 was the first year for this model, you can look it up, but I am sure it is a very early run. At 33 years old, you'd be hard pressed to find a 5-string G&L bass guitar that is this old.

Features 3-tone sunburst finish, alder body, maple neck, and ebony fretboard. Black pickguard, volume/tone controls, and a passive "Z" style pickup. Plays and sounds incredible.

This guitar was played on stage regularly and features normal wear but is in overall great condition. Let me repeat: there about 3 spots which qualify as nicks/wear that I'd consider "noticeable" and I can supply higher resolution pictures upon request, but this is a 33 year old instrument that has seen regular stage use. No abuse whatsoever, but you are not buying a slick, mint guitar.

Comes with original case. One latch doesn't work.
