Original, vintage c 1974 Gibson SG Custom 3 pickup gold/ white model, awesome condition! This axe is a monster player, and a super stunner; a real Cadillac of a guitar. Super fast neck, arrow true, low action and great feel. The original gold patent pickups sound amazing; hot, gritty, nasty and just plain old mean. Nails Hendrix (his was a '68) to Iommi tones and everything in between. The guitar holds perfect tune, even with vigorous bigsby bending, and the original gold waffleback tuners are smooth and tight.

Cosmetically, she is in very nice condition, and proudly displays all of the light, natural and the most authentic and well deserved exterior finish and play wear one would expect of a well loved, well played and well cared for instrument of this age and pedigree, with lots of patina and deep finish checking and spidering, as is so common on these white models, all included at no extra charge. The previous owner did an absolutely shameful job changeing the nut, and managed to drip glue and finish all over that portion of the neck reverse.  He then did a really shit job trying to touch it up.  That said, although less than pretty, it’s solid as a rock, my tech has black lighted and inspected it, and there are NO cracks, no breaks, no funny business. The guitar will ship in the original gibson hard case, (pictured). She will be perfect for the player or collector for whom the real thing really matters. Such a beast!!!
