As you can see in the pics, this exceedingly rare original, vintage KLEMT ECHOLETTE Showstar amplifier is in exquisite, perfect functional condition, with no issues of any kind. This was klempt's top of the line, with the light-up faceplate for awesome stage effect.  The light even pulsates in time with the tremolo!  It looks pretty amazing!  I've only encountered a few of these, and I think probably only a handful have survived, this onE certainly must be one of the nicest.  So cool!!!  

 It has just been fully serviced and restored, and It is ready for another 50 years of rocking.  These German amps were the same ones used by the Beatles in Hamburg, you never know... The Showstar is a 2x el34 based amp, basically a Marshall jtm45. -with the tremolo circuit-- The tone is impossibly deep and rich, with huge, HUGE, vintage, beefy iron vibe. I really can't over-stress how great the tone is.   The amp is all original, the only changes were the electrolytic caps.   All the iron is untouched.  The el34s are nos winged =C=.  Rad.

 The heart and soul is of course, that amazing, gritty, distorted tone as you begin to heat things up.   You simply MUST(!) jumper the inputs!  Things start to get really interesting at about 1/2 volume and keep getting better the more you turn it up, until you are in full-on, unsurpassed, pure, real golden era, mind-destroying, cascading distortion. I ADORE the "sag" and compression you get out of this old girl when things start to get toasty.  Glorious. This amp has phenomenal, tight break-up and creamy, squishy, gritty overdrive. It is a real wall-of-sound smear of stunning German tube tone. The trem is very nice and mellow.  A lot like the marshall sound, less so the fender.  The ORIGINAL! ....... heaven!
