In the 1970's a company out of Japan called Yamaki made acoustic guitars rivaling the best US made instruments. They were promptly sued into oblivion. Here is a rare and nearly mint example of one of their "D18's"

This guitar is seriously loud. Louder than anything else in our acoustic room - and we have some nice ones in there. It must be the classic dreadnought body and 40 year old aged spruce top. There are no cracks, dings or any issues with the guitar. It is 40 years old so there are signs of it being played - like pick stroke marks on the pickguard.
