Schecter Charles Berthoud CB-6 LH guitar in Natural Satin

Schecter Charles Berthoud CB-6 LH Bass in Natural Satin

This left-handed 6-string electric bass combines refined ergonomics with luthier-inspired construction for players seeking both technical sophistication and sonic clarity. The thin C-shaped neck and lightweight ash body deliver a naturally responsive playing experience, while the neck-through construction ensures extended sustain and tonal coherence across all registers.

Playability & Feel

The 34-inch scale paired with a 20-inch fingerboard radius creates a balanced, comfortable playing surface suited to both technical and expressive work. Neck dimensions taper from 20mm at the 1st fret to 22mm at the 12th fret, and the 24 jumbo frets provide extended reach, while dual carbon fiber reinforcement rods maintain stability and intonation across the entire fingerboard. The natural satin finish on the neck offers a comfortable, unfinished feel that improves with use and responds naturally to hand position changes.

Tone & Electronics

The dual EMG 45HZ passive pickups paired with an EMG B64 active preamp and 3-band EQ deliver responsive, articulate tone with a wide frequency range from deep lows to punchy highs. Hardware stability is ensured by the 54mm Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut, Schecter Diamond Custom bass bridge, and Grover bass tuners, all working together to provide precise intonation and reliable tuning retention.
