Finished in beautiful Aged Natural, this double-cutaway electric guitar features an arched maple top, chambered mahogany body, and distinctive vintage-inspired appointments.
The chambered body construction provides a lively, resonant response while keeping the instrument comfortable and balanced. Its set mahogany neck features a comfortable Thin U profile, complemented by a 12-inch radius laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and classic Pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays.
A pair of Black Top Broad'Tron humbuckers delivers a powerful combination of tight bass, articulate mids, and sparkling highs. With individual pickup volume controls, master volume with treble bleed, and master tone, the G5222 offers excellent tonal flexibility for everything from blues and rockabilly to classic rock and modern alternative styles.
Additional appointments include an anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge, Gretsch V-Stoptail, chrome hardware, and traditional G-Arrow control knobs.
