This heavily customized and player-worn 1983 Gibson The "SG" delivers exceptional tone and effortless playability despite extensive modifications. Originally built with a four-pot configuration, the electronics have been streamlined down to just two controls inspired by a Telecaster layout. A rear channel was custom-routed into the body to relocate the pickup selector switch, covered by a hand-cut custom backplate that is now beginning to split and crumble at the screw holes. Retaining its original pickups and sporting genuine player wear throughout, this is a unique vintage workhorse built for tone and performance. Includes a brand-new generic hardshell case.
