This wonderful Martin D-28 "Dreadnought" was purchased in 2001, has been lightly used over the last fifteen plus years and is in very good condition (by reverb.com standards). It has a couple of marks (seen in the pictures), and I checked with a Luthier (contemplating minor cosmetic repairs) that confirmed it is in fine condition.

You will love this guitar! I'm including a tuner and an extra set of strings.

It is competitively priced based on similar guitars available.

If there’s a single Martin dreadnought by which all others are judged, it’s undoubtedly the Martin D-28. Its legacy stretches all the way back to 1931, and it’s spent the last century defining the very sound of a steel-string dreadnought guitar on countless rock, country, bluegrass, and pop records.

The Martin D-28 is widely regarded as the most iconic acoustic guitar in the world, trusted by generations of players and played by countless legends across genres. Its Dreadnought body size and scalloped bracing delivers the bold, projective tone with strong bass, clear trebles, and rich overtones that has defined acoustic music for nearly a century. Handcrafted with a solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the D-28 produces a resonant voice that’s beautifully balanced for all playing styles.

The satin neck, featuring a Golden Era (GE) Modified Low Oval profile, high-performance taper, and 25.4" scale length, ensures smooth, effortless playability. With antique white binding, an ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays, an ebony bridge with bone pins, and nickel open gear tuners, the D-28 blends timeless craftsmanship with modern playability. Available in a variety of gloss and satin options, the D-28 is the guitar you can trust to unleash the artist within.
