For sale here is a 14"X14" Pearl Session Studio Classic floor tom in a beautiful Sequoia Red lacquer finish. This Session Studio Classic drum features a 6 ply hybrid shell of Birch and Kapur woods. Four plies of Birch, with its dry and throaty tonal character, not to mention its understated grain pattern, interact with two plies of Kapur; one on the interior of the shell, and one sandwiched between the Birch plies, to create a clear and defined, yet mellow tone. Think Uber-Modern Yamaha meets 1966 Ludwig. The drum ships with shitty legs (it came to me without any), and factory heads which aren't in the best of shape, hence the low price point.
