Efnote EFD-C08 8" Splash Cymbal Pad - Open Box

Efnote EFD-C08 8" Splash

The EFD-C08 is an 8-inch splash cymbal from EFNOTE, designed as an optional expansion component compatible with multiple kits across the EFNOTE lineup. Listed under EFNOTE's effect cymbals, the EFD-C08 serves as a splash cymbal and is finished in an elegant warm gray with a fine engraved surface. Whether added to a compact EFNOTE Mini setup or incorporated into a larger EFNOTE 7 configuration, it brings expressive splash articulation to any kit while maintaining the refined aesthetic and advanced sensing technology that define the EFNOTE product family.

Precision Sensing in a Small Package

Despite its compact 8-inch diameter, the EFD-C08 is equipped with the same sophisticated multi-sensor technology found throughout EFNOTE's cymbal range. It features 360-degree flat sensing with choke capability across both bow and edge zones, allowing drummers to play anywhere on the cymbal surface and receive consistent, accurate response regardless of strike position. Learn The choke function enables players to grab the cymbal mid-ring for an immediate, natural cutoff — a technique essential to expressive drumming that many electronic cymbals fail to replicate convincingly. This level of sensing precision in such a small cymbal makes the EFD-C08 a genuinely expressive tool rather than a simple accent piece.

Design and Build Quality

The EFD-C08 features a fine engraved surface in EFNOTE's signature warm gray colorway, consistent with the aesthetic of the broader cymbal lineup. Learn The surface material is clean silicone rubber, which resists drumstick marking and maintains its appearance over time through regular use. Weight simulation is built into the cymbal's construction, giving it a physical feel and natural movement when struck that more closely mirrors the behavior of an acoustic splash cymbal. The result is an instrument that looks refined on any kit and holds up to the demands of regular practice and performance alike.

Versatile Compatibility and Expansion

The EFD-C08 is a key component in EFNOTE's expansion ecosystem, appearing across multiple kit configurations and expansion packs. On the EFNOTE Mini, it serves as the included splash and crash cymbal in the standard configuration, while on the EFNOTE 7 and 5 series it is featured in Expansion Pack 2, which pairs it with an 8-inch rack tom, a 17-inch effect cymbal, a tom mount, a cymbal stand, and a splash cymbal mount. Learn It can also be added as a standalone splash cymbal to any compatible kit using a splash cymbal mount. The EFD-C08 connects via a single TRS phone connector for the bow and edge zones, making installation straightforward across all compatible EFNOTE sound modules. Learn For drummers looking to add a quick, punchy accent cymbal to their setup without taking up significant space on the kit, the EFD-C08 delivers the full EFNOTE experience at the smallest scale in the lineup.
