Here for sale we have a Yamaha LS16 A.R.E Electro-Acoustic guitar in Gloss Natural finish. Yamaha's 'LS' designation stands for Luxury Small, and is similar to a concert or auditorium guitar such as a 000. Made in China in 2022 this guitar features an all-solid construction comprising an Engelmann Spruce A.R.E top, Rosewood back and sides, 5-ply Mahogany/Rosewood neck and a 20 fret Ebony fingerboard with matching bridge. A Urea saddle & nut are fitted, along with a set of Gold sealed tuning machines. A Yamaha SRT Zero Impact Pickup is installed, and is wired directly to the end pin output.

The 5-ply Mahogany/Rosewood neck plays very well, with a profile resembling a soft 'V' that encourages ergonomic thumb positioning and offers a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Ebony fingerboard is supremely comfortable under the fingers and adds a real sense of luxury to the instrument. The 15.75" fingerboard radius provides a fine balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for fingerpicking and lead lines. The LS body shape is comfortable in the arms offering an enjoyable playing experience in both seated and standing positions.

The voice of the LS16 A.R.E is finely balanced, with the Solid Rosewood back and sides providing a deep, rich low end and strong mids. The Solid Engelmann Spruce A.R.E. top adds a warmth and brightness to the sound that beautifully colours every note played on the instrument. Yamaha's 'Acoustic Resonance Enhancement' (A.R.E) treatment involves placing the timber into a very precisely controlled chamber where the temperature, humidity & pressure are manipulated to alter the molecular structure of the wood. It can be thought of as an extremely advanced & precise form of torrefaction. The result is a top which responds as though it had aged naturally. The SRT Zero Impact Pickup captures the natural voice of the instrument & adds the versatility required for live & recording situations.
