JHS Morning Glory Clean Overdrive Pedal
Our users rate Reverb
The JHS Morning Glory Clean is a refined take on the classic Morning Glory overdrive, designed to deliver natural, amp-like grit while preserving your guitar's original tone, pick attack, and low-end response. Its Bluesbreaker-style circuit combines gentle saturation with a parallel clean blend, letting you retain the clarity of your clean signal even as you increase the drive.
It is particularly well suited to players who want their amplifier and guitar to remain the center of their sound rather than having an overdrive pedal dominate their tone.
Design and appearance
The pedal has a compact, durable metal enclosure with a straightforward control layout featuring four knobs and a footswitch. Its design emphasizes simplicity and practical tone shaping rather than elaborate features.
Top-mounted input and output jacks help conserve pedalboard space, while buffered bypass switching provides quiet operation when engaging or disengaging the effect.
