This 1955 Fender Stratocaster features a super-cozy V-carve neck ("9-55") with beautiful wear and patina for an incredible feel. The stock electronics deliver undeniable vintage Strat tones, with rich, full mids, tons of harmonics, and a beautiful lo-fi roll-off in the highs. It displays expected wear and a handful of minor mods, including a replaced nut, patched lead wire in the cavity, replaced knobs, and a replaced switch tip. Interestingly, the body bears a "5/88" date, believed to be a factory dating error, as the body is original to the guitar. If you're on the hunt for a '55, you know what you're looking at. This is a living, breathing piece of one of the most iconic chapters in Fender's legacy. Purchase includes the original hardshell case.
