King 602 Cornet w/ King Hard Case & Mouthpiece – Valves Move Freely

King 602 Cornet with King Hard Case & Mouthpiece

Here’s a classic King 602 cornet looking for its next musical home! This instrument came to Butler Music as part of our recent purchase of an entire music store’s inventory, which included several band and orchestra instruments.

The horn retains an attractive shine and presents nicely overall. It comes with a King-branded hard case and the mouthpiece shown in the photos.

Condition

This is a used instrument with scratches, areas of finish wear, tarnish, and small dents/dings from previous use. The mouthpiece shows wear and tarnishing. The case shows age and use, including exterior stickers and markings.

Our specialty is guitars and other fretted instruments, so our evaluation has been limited to appearance and basic valve movement. We have not play-tested this cornet or verified valve compression, slide movement, or overall playing condition. Cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, or other servicing may be needed before use.

An appealing option for a brass enthusiast, repair technician, or player comfortable having a pre-owned horn inspected and serviced.

Please review all photos carefully. The actual King cornet, mouthpiece, and King case pictured are the items you will receive.
