The NEEWER TL120C is an extra-long 42 W RGBWW LED stick light for creative photography and video applications. With a length of 127 cm, a maximum illuminance of 2,000 lux at 0.5 m at 5,600 K, and high colour rendering with a CRI of 97+ and a TLCI of 98+, it is also suitable for demanding film, broadcast and streaming productions. The colour temperature can be adjusted from 2,500 to 10,000 K and precisely fine-tuned via a green/magenta correction of ±50.

Flexible colours and dynamic effects

For lighting design, an HSI mode with a 360° colour wheel, an RGBCW mode with colour values from 0 to 255, and a GEL mode with 40 colour filter presets are available. Individually controllable 32-bit pixels, 7 pixel effects and 18 scene effects – such as Flash, Paparazzi, Explosion, Fireworks and Music Sync – open up additional creative possibilities. Brightness is adjustable in 1 per cent steps from 0 to 100 per cent. Four PWM dimming curves – linear, logarithmic, exponential and S-shaped – allow for precise adjustment of the dimming behaviour.

Control is via the display itself, two rotary controls, six buttons and a handy colour touchpad. Alternatively, the TL120C can be controlled via the NEEWER app, the proprietary 2.4 GHz system or a DMX512 console. A DMX RJ45 cable is included; to connect to an XLR-DMX console, a separately available NC005 or NC006 RJ45-to-XLR cable set is required.

Portable operation and flexible mounting

The built-in, rechargeable 6,000 mAh lithium battery offers a runtime of up to 2 hours at full brightness and takes approximately 2 hours to recharge. Mains operation is also possible. The battery weighs 407 g and falls into battery weight class 07 (251–500 g).

The plastic housing features a 1/4" thread for tripod mounting. The light bar measures 127 cm in length, has a diameter of 4.5 cm and weighs 3.23 kg. The scope of delivery includes a mains adaptor, mains cable, two mounting clamps, two steel cables, a DMX RJ45 cable, a carry bag and an instruction manual.
