[A K Zildjian ride cymbal from the so-called IAK era, believed to have been manufactured between the 1980s and mid-1990s, has arrived!]

This model, which features an upside-down K logo, is believed to have been manufactured between the 1980s, when K Zildjian's production base shifted from its Canadian factory to its American factory, and around 1993.

Because Zildjian has always kept pace with music trends, the period after their relocation from the Canadian K factory was a transitional period in which specifications changed subtly. In particular, K Zildjian watches manufactured between 1988 and 1993 are commonly known as IAK (Intermediate American K).

Compared to current models, this cymbal features a coarser and larger lathing and hammering, resulting in a very well-balanced cymbal that blends lustrous overtones with a mellow tone.

With a well-balanced sound ranging from crisp, articulate chip to clear, resonant cup tone, this cymbal offers a comfortable and familiar sound. It's an exceptionally stable ride cymbal.

Size: 20 inches
