Our users rate Reverb
The 2017 Monarchy Majesty brings a distinctive character to John Petrucci's unmistakable design. Unlike the original basswood-bodied Majesty, the Monarchy features an African mahogany body with a beautifully figured maple shield. Finished in Imperial Blue with a glossy front and smooth matte back, it's a striking combination of craftsmanship, comfort, and style.
DiMarzio Sonic Ecstasy humbuckers give the Monarchy its own voice, with a pronounced midrange, powerful low end, and articulate response. Coil-splitting and an onboard 20 dB boost expand its versatility, while the piezo-equipped floating tremolo adds acoustic-inspired tones with the ability to blend magnetic and piezo sounds.
With its sculpted contours, neck-through construction, ebony fingerboard, and 24 stainless steel frets, the Majesty is designed for precision, comfort, and effortless upper-fret access. At just 6 lb 7.6 oz, this example offers remarkable comfort without sacrificing its performance-oriented design.
Condition
Very Good
This guitar shows minor cosmetic bumps and bruises, including a ding at the lower front corner of the headstock, wear along the top of the headstock from a clip-on tuner, and a ding on the underside of the body. All imperfections are cosmetic, non-structural, and photographed.
The original chrome Music Man locking tuners have been replaced with black Sperzel locking tuners.
