The Browne Amplification Ethane Dual Overdrive puts two of Browne's best-loved circuits, the Carbon V2 and the Gritador, side by side in one pedal. Use either side alone or stack them for everything from a light boost to a singing lead tone. This one is finished in Aqua Copper Vein.

The Carbon V2 side is Browne's refined take on the classic Bluesbreaker circuit: open, dynamic and clear, from clean boost to a fiery overdrive, with a three-way high-cut toggle to tame brightness for stacking or bright rigs. The Gritador side is a reworked Tube Screamer-style drive with a balanced midrange, fuller low end and asymmetrical clipping, so it cuts through without getting harsh. Stack the two and the Carbon's headroom and the Gritador's mid push combine into a rich, harmonically full sound. Soft switching with an adjustable start-up state and an internal split mode make it easy to fit into any pedalboard.
