Looking for an awesome Les Paul? If so, you owe it to yourself to check out this gorgeous 2026 “Made to Measure” ’59 LP VOS Reissue from the Gibson Custom Shop, serial number 96437.

This beauty has a dealer-selected AAA grade flame maple top on a one-piece mahogany body. It is super-light weighing just 8.0 pounds! It has a chunky 50’s rounded mahogany neck with depth measurements of .88” at the first fret increasing to .99” at the 12th fret. It has an extremely dark rosewood fingerboard with a 24.75” scale length, a 12” radius, a 1.69” nylon nut, 22 medium/jumbo frets and cellulose nitrate inlays. It has a nickel-plated no-wire ABR-1 tune-o-matic bridge with brass saddles and a lightweight aluminum tailpiece. The electronics include uncovered double Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers with a three-way toggle switch and separate volume and tone controls for each pickup. It has a gloss dirty lemon burst nitrocellulose finish.

Pick this baby up and you would think it was chambered but it’s a solid body, albeit among the lightest you are likely to come across. It’s resonant too and rings like a bell. It plays great and the tone is fat and woody with lots of crunch when you crank up the gain.

This marvelous instrument comes to you in near mint VOS spec condition with no flaws of any significance. It could easily be mistaken for a new instrument. Included are the certificate of authenticity, the hang tags, the uninstalled pickguard and nickel covers for the pickups in the event you are not a fan of the uncovered look. It comes in its original brown Lifton-style case also in near mint condition. Please note that the rear round metal switch plate cover is missing – only the black plastic cover is included.

There is no reason to spend nearly $7K for a new ’59 Reissue when you can have this super lightweight near mint beauty for quite a bit less. Click ‘Buy Now’ and make this sweet piece yours!
