Condition Note
The trumpet is in very good to excellent cosmetic condition for a vintage Japanese-made instrument. The clear lacquer finish is glossy and well-preserved overall with standard, light handling wear. The horn exhibits one localized small ding on the 2nd-valve slide knuckle and a couple of very small, minor cosmetic dings near the bell flare that do not compromise air seal, structural geometry, or tonal response. There are no major crushed sections, red rot, or solder repairs.
Mechanical Operation & Playability: The instrument has just received a complete shop service and play-test. The Monel valves are fast, smooth, and quiet with excellent compression. All slides—main tuning slide, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd—are completely free, clean, properly lubricated with fresh tuning slide grease, and pull smoothly for effortless intonation adjustment. The horn blows freely with an open, centered sound across all registers.
Freshly serviced, fully lubricated, bench-checked, complete with original Yamaha case and Japanese 11C4-7C mouthpiece, and 100% ready to play.
