Warm Audio WA-2A Tube Optical Compressor, [Very Good Condition]

Up for sale is my Warm Audio WA-2A. It’s a faithful take on the classic LA-2A-style optical leveling amp, with tube circuitry, a hand-built T4-style optical cell, and CineMag transformers. It has the smooth, program-dependent compression the LA-2A is known for, on vocals, bass, and anything else that needs leveling without sounding squashed.

Condition: [Fully functional, with no issues. Cosmetic notes: e.g. light rack rash on the ears and a small scuff on the top panel. See photos.] All controls, the meter, and the Compress/Limit switch work as they should.

History: I run a mobile live sound company, and this unit [lived in my studio rack]. [It has always been powered through conditioned power and transported in a rack case.]

Included:

• WA-2A unit
• [Power cable]

Shipping: Packed carefully, with the tubes protected for transit. [Local pickup available in the DFW area.]
