Boss FZ-1W Waza Craft Fuzz Pedal
Boss FZ-1W Waza Craft Fuzz Pedal
Our users rate Reverb
The BOSS FZ-1W Waza Craft Fuzz is a premium, all-analog fuzz pedal that combines the aggressive, expressive character of classic 1960s fuzz with the reliability and versatility of a modern design. It delivers everything from gritty vintage crunch and thick, singing sustain to cleaner tones controlled by your picking dynamics and guitar's volume knob.
Part of BOSS's premium Waza Craft series, the FZ-1W is not a direct reproduction of one particular vintage pedal. Instead, BOSS developed its own silicon-transistor circuit inspired by the character and response of classic fuzz designs.
The key attraction: it can sound raw and vintage, thick and modern, or surprisingly clean and responsive—all from the same pedal.
