Some guitars look good on paper. Others feel right the moment you pick them up—and sound so good that you can't wait to play the next song! The Sterling by Music Man JV60-TBM James Valentine Signature brings together the musical vision of Maroon 5's lead guitarist with the design heritage of one of the most respected names in the guitar world. Developed around James Valentine's own playing needs, this versatile instrument delivers a comfortable, inviting playing experience, expressive tones, and a powerful built-in boost that make it equally at home laying down tight rhythms or stepping out front for a soaring lead.

The JV60-TBM pairs a swamp ash body with a smooth roasted maple neck, creating a comfortable, responsive feel that encourages you to keep playing. Its bridge humbucker and neck single-coil pickup offer a useful range of sounds, from bright, articulate, cutting tones to warmer, fuller voices for leads and more rounded rhythm work. Need extra punch for a solo? Simply push the volume knob to activate the built-in 12 dB boost and give your sound an extra lift. Add locking tuners and a fixed hardtail bridge, and you've got a thoughtfully equipped guitar built for dependable performance and musical flexibility. From pop-rock and blues to funk, classic rock, and modern studio work, the JV60 has the tonal range to keep up with changing styles and creative ideas.

The Music Man name carries serious guitar-world credibility, with celebrated artists including John Petrucci of Dream Theater, Steve Lukather of Toto, Steve Morse, and Albert Lee associated with the brand and its instruments. As if that weren't enough, add Eagles legend Joe Walsh to that roster.

When Joe Walsh gets in on the Valentine guitar action, you know the design has serious appeal. James Valentine himself has expressed how exciting it was to see Walsh playing a Valentine guitar—a ringing endorsement of the design's reach beyond its creator. Now combine that kind of star-powered recognition with Valentine's own hands-on design vision, and you've got a signature collaboration that brings fresh personality, real-world versatility, and Music Man heritage to the Sterling lineup. Best of all, the JV60 delivers that distinctive Valentine experience at a more accessible price point than its USA-made Music Man counterpart.

A comfortable neck, inspiring tones, genuinely useful versatility, and a built-in boost that can take your playing to the next level—this is a signature guitar with substance behind the name. Whether you're looking for a reliable gigging instrument, a flexible studio companion, or simply a guitar that makes you want to play more, the Sterling JV60-TBM deserves your attention. Don't let this one pass you by—make it yours today and discover what this James Valentine signature can bring to your sound.
