With the SG Supreme, Gibson has created a top-tier instrument that pairs high-performance features with dazzling aesthetics. This SG Supreme features a plain maple top on a mahogany body. The SG Supreme has no pickguard, which gives it a sleek and modern appearance. The mahogany neck has a fast-playing SlimTaper™ profile and is equipped with an ebony fretboard with a 10”-16” compound radius for both easy bends and first-position chording, 24 medium jumbo frets for extended range, and Super Split Block mother-of-pearl inlays. The headstock is adorned with a striking new mother-of-pearl “Chandelier Inlay” inspired by a design from the 1940s that was discovered in the Gibson archives.
