Sigma GBCE-3-SB+ Sunburst 2018 Electro Acoustic Guitar

Here for sale we have a Sigma GBCE-3-SB+ Electro Acoustic Guitar in Sunburst finish. Made in China in 2018, this guitar consists of a Solid European Alpine Spruce top, Blackwood back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Micarta fingerboard. Other appointments include a Bone nut, Nickel tuner with Ebony buttons, and a Fishman Flex Plus pickup and preamp system. This system has controls for volume, treble, and bass. 

The “C” profile sits comfortably in the hand, feeling quick and provides ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers. The Micarta fingerboard is pleasant to the touch and provides a smooth and reliable playing surface, whilst the traditional 16" radius strikes a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for string bending. The Grand OM-14 Fret Cutaway design fills the arms nicely, giving a lively and responsive playing experience.

The tone of the GBCE-3-SB+ is rich and clear, with a warm low end, a punchy midrange, along with crisp and articulate highs thanks to its Solid European Alpine Spruce top and Blackwood back and sides. The Fishman Flex Plus pickup/preamp system really enhances the voice of the guitar, staying true to its character and giving good tonal control without overwhelming you with features, overall a great workhorse guitar, perfect for someone looking for a well built acoustic to take them through any playing situation.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, these can be seen under direct light. A light chip to the finish is present to the rear of the headstock, this is located near the low E tuning machine and can be seen under close inspection.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.

Body: Overall very good condition. Finish imperfections are present to the front face, bass side shoulder, near the shoulder mounted controls and to the rear face towards the neck, these are from factory and we have been unable to remove them. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can be seen under direct light.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod:  Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2mm - Bass 2.25mm
