The Orangewood Juniper Parlor acoustic-electric guitar offers a clean yet articulate tone for musicians seeking a muted sound. Inspired by historic muting techniques, Orangewood put their unique spin on the rubber bridge tone by testing various rubber-lined saddle designs to achieve the perfect thickness and adjustability. They then reinforced the bridge and added a trapeze tailpiece, resulting in a guitar that delivers a muted yet resonant tone.

Premium Materials Provide a Warm, Muted Tone

The Juniper Parlor's solid spruce top and high-quality materials give it a warm, muted tone perfect for songwriters and pros alike. Its rubber-lined saddle, Ernie Ball Flatwound strings and trapeze tailpiece work together to accentuate the guitar's tonal textures. Whether you prefer to play unplugged or through your favorite amp and pedals, the Juniper Parlor delivers a tone that inspires.

Modern Playability and Reliability

The Juniper Parlor's construction focuses on playability, comfort and reliability. Its slim neck and 9.5" radius fingerboard feel familiar under your fingers, allowing for smooth transitions between chords and single notes. Grover open-gear tuners provide rock-solid tuning stability, while the guitar's simple controls make it easy to shape your tone. When needed, you can adjust the neck relief and action at home thanks to the headstock truss rod access.

Project Your Sound with the Rail Humbucker

Although the Juniper Parlor sounds great unplugged, its high-output rail humbucker helps your tone cut through when amplified. The humbucker adds punch to balance out the guitar's natural mellowness. A single cupcake-style knob provides volume control, allowing you to go from clean and muted to a richer, full sound.
