The Alvarez ABT60 is a baritone acousticbuilt for players who want to explore a lower register without giving up the feel and response of a traditional acoustic guitar. Tuned B to B, it adds a deep, full-bodied voice that works especially well for alternate tunings, songwriting, layered acoustic parts, and adding some extra weight to a recording.

A solid Sitka spruce top paired with African mahogany back and sides gives it a nice balance of warmth, clarity, and definition. The baritone body has a comfortable shape with a tapered waist, while Alvarez's forward-shifted FST2 bracing helps the top respond naturally across its extended range.

The mahogany neck has a soft V-to-C profile that feels comfortable as you move around the fingerboard, with Indian laurel appointments and a mother-of-pearl-style inlay at the 12th fret. A 27.718" scale and 1.75" nut give it the room needed for those lower tunings, while the bone nut and saddle round out a well-appointed acoustic.

If you're looking for something beyond a standard six-string, the ABT60 is a fun and genuinely useful addition to the acoustic lineup, whether you're writing at home or looking for a different texture in the studio.
