VIDEO!  1988 Hohner Professional Strat w Fat Lefty Warmoth Neck, Soft Case

Did you know… Prince’s main tele was a Hohner.  This strat is from Hohner’s Professional Series, made late 80’s - 90’s.  Hohner serial numbers aren't super-reliable for dating, but this is most likely an 88.  I replaced the neck with a Warmoth Fatback, their beefiest neck, and left-handed, super cool!

NOTE: I’m listing the neck separately, first come, first serve.  If the neck sells first, I'll sell this fully loaded body.

This is a great player!  Please see the video.

  • Low action (see pic #2), straight and beefy neck
  • 3 single coil pickups, all sound great, and both out-of-phase positions 2 and 4 have wonderful quack
  • Pots and jack work perfectly, no scratchiness
  • The body has all the right “comfort cuts” and is in great shape
  • Thick padded Gibson soft case, a great fit

Measurements

  • Nut: 1.75”
  • Neck Thickness: 1.01: at 1st and 12th frets - this is a fatty!
  • Weight: 8 lb. 14 oz.

This guitar is a great value: feels great in your hand, looks awesome, plays well and sounds amazing.  I will ship via UPS very well packed. Enjoy.
