Product Details

The Proco RAT2 is a representative distortion pedal from the RAT series by the American effects pedal brand Pro Co.

With its unique, raw distortion and powerful sound, it's a classic model that has been supported by many guitarists.

It handles a wide range of sounds, from a light distortion similar to overdrive to a fierce sound reminiscent of fuzz, and is active in various genres such as rock, punk, and alternative.

This model features simple operation with three knobs.

Unlike typical tone adjustments, it employs a unique specification where turning the knob to the right suppresses the high frequencies.

The sound is appealing for its powerful distortion, combining sharp, edgy distortion with thick mid-low frequencies.

By lowering the gain, you can get a crunch that preserves the nuances of your picking, and by increasing the distortion, it transforms into a powerful sound with a gritty texture and rich sustain.

You can pursue everything from a sharp attack to a thick, mellow tone, enjoying a raw presence in chord strumming and a sticky, sustained tone in lead playing.

The unique distortion texture stands out even within a band ensemble.

This is a recommended pedal not only for those seeking a classic distortion sound, but also for guitarists who want to incorporate a rougher distortion different from overdrive.

With simple operation, it supports a wide range of gain settings, allowing for diverse expressions depending on the amplifier and guitar combination. This is a model that we highly recommend incorporating the distinctive sound unique to the long-loved RAT into your playing.

Please take this opportunity to purchase it.
