1997 Gibson EC-10 Standard Acoustic Electric Guitar Black USA w/ Hardshell Case

Here’s a well-played American-made Gibson with plenty of character and plenty of music left in it! This 1997 Gibson EC-10 Standard offers a comfortable thin-body design, a rounded cutaway, onboard electronics, and a striking black finish. It has seen considerable use over the years, but it plays great and makes an appealing choice for someone looking for a Gibson they can enjoy playing.

The EC-10 combines a small jumbo body shape with a shallower body depth for comfortable handling. Its cutaway provides convenient upper-fret access, while the onboard Gibson preamp puts volume and tone controls within easy reach. The distinctive moustache-style bridge, decorative soundhole rosette, and shaped pickguard give it a look all its own.

Condition—please read

This guitar is in decent used condition with substantial cosmetic wear, including scratches, scuffs, finish checking, and wear around the edges. The photographs show the wear from several angles, so please look through all of them carefully.

The crack-like lines shown in the photographs are in the finish only and do not extend through the wood. There is visible finish checking on the body and around the heel area.

Despite its well-used appearance, this Gibson plays great. It is a good candidate for a player who appreciates an older American-made instrument and is comfortable with visible wear.

The included case is an aftermarket hardshell case, not the original Gibson case. The guitar and case pictured are the exact items you will receive.
