The Fender American Professional Telecaster builds on the traditional Tele platform with updated electronics, hardware, and playing features designed for modern working players. This version pairs an alder body in Oxblood with a maple fingerboard, three-ply black pickguard, and nickel/chrome hardware.

The maple neck uses Fender’s Deep “C” profile with smooth rolled fingerboard edges and a newly sculpted neck heel for easier upper-fret access. Its “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish covers the back of the neck, while the headstock face is finished in gloss urethane. The 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard carries 22 Narrow Tall frets, black dot inlays, and a bone nut.

Two V-Mod III single-coil Telecaster pickups are paired with ClassicGear Precision potentiometers, master volume and tone controls, and traditional three-way pickup selection. A push-push tone control activates Series Mode for an additional way to combine the two pickups.

The three-saddle Telecaster bridge supports both top-load and string-through setups and uses ClassicGear Compensated Brass Bullet saddles. Fender Standard staggered cast/sealed tuners and an asymmetrical Micro-Tilt neck plate complete the hardware, and a Deluxe Molded hardshell case is included.
