I'm selling my fabulous Firemist Gold Music Man Bongo 5HH bass here.

The Bongo is such a versatile and ergonomic bass, built to the highest standards by Music Man in California. No wonder this is a £3000 instrument when new!

Every detail of these basses screams professional quality, and make you realise what a high-end instrument should be. Far better than the cheap Indonesian-made Bongo which doesn't even have the right preamp!

Tonally, the 4-band active preamp, 18V electrics, and twin humbuckers give a clean, hi-fi like tone that can be moulded for use in many genres, from Metal to Jazz, via funk.

A 34-inch scale gives comfortable playing feel, without compromising on a tight low-B string.

This bass has been owned by myself for around 4 years, and previously belonged to a studio. It comes from non-smoking, no-pets environment, and the condition is generally excellent, with no buckle rash, or other marks.

One small defect is a 'dent' in the front, near the bridge. It's hard to spot this in normal lighting, but I've done my best to photograph it here. This is reflected in the price.

The bass comes with the original MusicMan hard case.
