The T-Rex Mudhoney is a classic distortion with a crunchy, fuzzy edge and impressive tonal range. As one of the very first pedals produced by T-Rex, it quickly became known for delivering everything from smooth, bluesy grit to a massive wall of saturated distortion. Featuring a simple three-knob layout (Gain, Tone, Volume) and a dedicated Boost switch, the Mudhoney feels like two pedals in one. With the boost off, it produces warm, thick overdrive with depth and clarity.

Engage the boost, and it unleashes powerful, sustaining distortion while maintaining strong note definition and dynamic response. Even at high gain levels, chords remain articulate and harmonics cut through clearly, giving the sound dimension rather than muddiness. Built with rugged construction and carefully voiced tone, the Mudhoney stands as a defining T-Rex distortion classic.
