Fender Vibrosonic Reverb 1x15" Tube Guitar Combo Amp – 1974 Silverface

Here’s a great example of a classic 1974 Fender Vibrosonic Reverb Silverface combo. The Vibrosonic Reverb is essentially the 1x15" big brother to Fender’s Twin Reverb, offering massive clean headroom, deep low end, and plenty of volume.

This is the kind of amplifier that players have sought out for the big, powerful Texas blues sound. Stevie Ray Vaughan was known to use Fender Vibroverb/Vibrosonic-style rigs and 1x15" Fender amps as part of his pursuit of that huge, punchy tone. Pair it with the right guitar and overdrive, and this amp can deliver plenty of the bold, singing blues tone associated with that era.

The amp is in very good working condition and sounds excellent. The 15" speaker gives it a noticeably fuller and deeper response than a typical 12" combo, while the Fender tube circuit provides plenty of sparkling cleans and natural tube warmth.
