Its contoured okoumé body, featuring a hollowed-out back, bevelled body shape and rounded edges, combined with the headless construction, ensures balanced handling and high playing comfort, making it ideal for long sessions. The bolt-on five-strip neck, crafted from maple and jatoba, provides a stable foundation and features a jatoba fingerboard with 24 medium frets and a generous 19.7-inch radius. In terms of tone, the EHB600 features two active α1 pickups combined with the Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ, which allows for precise adjustment of bass, midrange and treble. An additional EQ bypass switch with passive tone control further enhances flexibility.
