The Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster FMT HSS puts the iconic style and tone of a classic Strat within reach of developing guitarists. Its thin, contoured poplar body capped with a stylish flame maple top not only looks fantastic, but also provides comfort during long practice sessions and gigs. The 25.5" maple neck has a smooth C profile that allows for speedy, low-effort playing up and down the fingerboard. Combined with the medium jumbo frets and 9.5" fingerboard radius, you'll find this Strat to be a fast, enjoyable playing experience right out of the box.

Express Yourself With a Versatile HSS Pickup Configuration

The HSS pickup layout gives you the best of both worlds—single-coils in the neck and middle position for crystal-clear Strat tone perfect for chords, funk, blues, country and more. Then switch to the bridge humbucker for fatter, higher-output sound ideal for hard rock, metal and heavy riffing. Having that tonal flexibility inspires creativity, allowing you to craft a diverse range of guitar parts.

Dial in Your Sound With a 5-Way Pickup Selector

Having three pickups is great, but being able to blend them exponentially expands your tonal palette. The 5-way pickup selector switch lets you instantly access neck pickup alone, neck+middle, middle alone, middle+bridge or bridge alone. Discover those in-between tones that take your playing to the next level.

Bend and Shake Expressively With a 2-Point Tremolo

No Strat would be complete without a tremolo for adding expressive pitch effects. The Squier Affinity Strat HSS comes equipped with a 2-point fulcrum tremolo bridge that provides smooth, responsive tremolo action. From subtle shimmers to dive bombs, this stable trem system will handle anything you throw at it while staying in tune.

Tune Up Quickly and Accurately With Sealed Tuning Machines

The chrome sealed die-cast tuning machines do more than just look great—they also help you stay in tune through dynamic performances. Their smooth operation makes restringing effortless, while the sealed design prevents grit and grime from compromising functionality.
