Michael Kelly Mod Shop 55 Ebony Fralin Electric Guitar B-Stock MK55MEBPLO

Beautiful striped ebony, premium Lindy Fralin pickups, and outstanding tonal versatility!

The Michael Kelly Mod Shop 55 Ebony Custom Fralin takes the familiar single-cutaway electric guitar to another level. Its striped ebony top and flame maple binding give it a distinctive, upscale appearance, while the swamp ash body and comfortable maple neck provide the foundation for a versatile playing instrument.

The real highlight is its Lindy Fralin pickup combination: a Pure PAF humbucker in the bridge position and a Fralin Mini Humbucker at the neck. This pairing offers articulate bridge tones, warm and clear neck sounds, and plenty of character for blues, country, classic rock, and clean rhythm work. Michael Kelly’s Great 8 electronics provide eight pickup settings, expanding your choices beyond conventional humbucker sounds.

About this particular guitar

This guitar came to Butler Music directly from the folks at Michael Kelly. It was a sample instrument that spent several years in their warehouse before they sold it to us as B-stock.

Our technician went over it from top to bottom. It is in like-new overall condition apart from a couple of small pick/pickguard scratches on the top and a few minor scratches from handling. These cosmetic imperfections make this a great opportunity to get a premium-equipped Michael Kelly at a B-stock price.

This guitar weighs 8 pounds, 15.2 ounces. The listing photos show the actual guitar you will receive.
