Built on a foundation of a maple top and mahogany back, this guitar balances warmth and brightness effortlessly. The 25" scale length and Pattern Thin neck profile make for a fast, comfortable playing experience, while the rosewood fretboard adorned with PRS' signature bird inlays adds a touch of elegance. What sets this model apart is its Maryland-made TCI pickups and intuitive switching system, providing eight distinct pickup configurations for unparalleled sonic flexibility. PRS TCI Pickups Deliver Unmatched Tonal Range

This model features PRS' proprietary TCI pickups, offering a dynamic range of tones suited for various playing styles. The treble and bass pickups are wired with a 3-way toggle switch and two mini-toggle coil-tap switches, allowing players to split the humbuckers into true single-coil modes. Whether you're dialing in chiming highs or thick, punchy mids, this setup ensures precision and clarity across the tonal spectrum. The TCI pickups are meticulously tuned for musicality, offering everything from crisp single-coil spank to rich humbucker warmth. With this advanced configuration, players can effortlessly craft the perfect tone for any performance.

Asymmetric Bevel Maple Top Enhances Resonance

The maple top on this instrument is carved with an asymmetric bevel, not only creating striking visual appeal but also enhancing the guitar's tonal properties. Maple is renowned for its bright and articulate response, complementing the mahogany body's warm, resonant character. This combination produces a balanced sound with tight lows, shimmering highs and a robust midrange. The high-gloss nitro finish further contributes to tonal fidelity by allowing the wood to breathe naturally. Together, these elements make the S2 Custom 24-08 an instrument that responds intuitively to your playing dynamics.

PRS Patented Tremolo System for Stability and Expression

The PRS patented tremolo system is designed with player comfort, tuning stability and tonal fidelity in mind. Its smooth action makes expressive vibrato techniques effortless while ensuring the instrument stays in tune during aggressive performances. Paired with PRS low-mass locking tuners, the tremolo bridge guarantees precise intonation and hassle-free string changes. The nickel hardware adds durability and complements the sleek aesthetic of the guitar, making this tremolo system a reliable tool for both studio work and live gigs.
