This is a used Gibson Les Paul Standard guitar from 2003. The item pictured is the one you will receive. It has been tested and gone over by the experts at our shop. When a guitar is purchased from us it undergoes a final setup check before shipping to ensure it's playing optimally. It is then packed with care and shipped to your door! (But please be aware that it may need slight tweaks upon arrival due to weather differences, jostling during shipping, etc.). Please read the description carefully and check over all photos for condition and wear. We do our best to describe all items as best as possible and note any wear we find, but please be considerate that it is a used piece and it won’t be perfect (Unless noted as "Mint Condition" or "10/10" for condition). Condition Notes:

- Condition: 8.5/10

- Fret wear: There are some extremely light divots starting to form in the first position of the B and G strings upon close inspection, but hardly worth noting! Frets are still 9/10! 

- Any wear of note: This guitar is in really amazing shape overall! It exhibits very normal light wear, like patina on the hardware and extremely light swirling/surface scratches in the clear coat (Very standard wear for a used guitar. Can happen from simply being wiped/cleaned with a cloth) here and there that's only really visible in certain lighting. But very minimal and minor, and to be expected from any used guitar. There's also a section of finish shrinkage just on the side where you would rest the guitar on your knee. But very minor and common with Gibson guitars as the nitro finish settles and ages. And even with the said wear, the guitar really is in amazing shape and fully functional and structurally sound!

- General notes: Here's a truly stellar instrument from Gibson! The early 2000's was a great era for Gibson and this Les Paul Standard is a great example of that. With incredible playability and nothing but classic specs. Like a bound carved maple top over a mahogany body with a mahogany neck and bound rosewood fretboard. The neck is so easy to play and fills the hand in a great way. The carve is sort of thin and playable, but not quite as thin as a SlimTaper 60's and definitely not as thick as a Rounded 50's. But a great shape that's super comfortable. And the Burstbucker Pro pickups are super articulate and have a great character to them that capture the guitars tone beautifully when plugged in. Plenty of midrange bite but still extremely pleasing to the ear. It's a gorgeous and classic guitar that's reliable, plays like a dream and sounds outstanding!
