The Historic Collection Les Paul, which ceased production in 2014, was revived in 2018 along with the discontinuation of the True Historic series! And it continues to be available to this day.

This commemorative 2018 Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul is now available as a recommended used item! What's more, it's a must-see, as it features a Hard Rock Maple top, a coveted wood for many Les Paul fans!

The Historic Collection 1958 Les Paul, officially revived in 2018, basically follows the 2017 specifications (True Historic parts and all-hide glue fit), but officially adopts Jescar narrow-type fret wire (Jescar FW50078, 1.98 mm wide) in consideration of historical accuracy. However, this particular instrument measures approximately 2.52 mm wide, the same as a 1959 Les Paul. The Pre-Pack Checklist is dated 1/24/18, early 2018, so it is likely a transitional instrument that still used the previous year's medium-sized frets. The neck grip has the same shape as the True Historic '58 Les Paul, which was a popular top-of-the-line model between 2015 and 2017. The powerful vibrations produced by the firm yet not too thick grip are a unique charm of the '58 model!

In 2018, further refinements were made to pursue even greater realism, including a redesigned truss rod cover with a straighter, sharper taper on the white edge, a refreshed base burst color, and a slightly faded Aniline Dye Cherry body back color!

And of course, you can't miss the hard rock maple!

The pickups are the classic Custom Bucker. This pickup selection will give you a sound full of bite. The combination of carefully selected pickups and carefully chosen wood tones produces a magical Les Paul tone! The dry tone has a rich harmonic richness that is irresistible. The sharp bridge, the rich neck, and the exquisite half-tones created by the interplay of the two are all superb!

We've just received some recommended used items!
There are some minor scratches, dents on the body top and back, small original paint imperfections, small original paint indentations between the front and rear pickups, some tarnishing on the parts, and rust on the stud heads, but none of these affect playability. Overall, it's in pretty good condition! We've performed a full maintenance and cleaning at our shop, so it's ready to use right away.
There are some cracks inside the knobs, but this does not affect their current functionality.

The frets have been leveled and are ready to use. Approximately 85% of the fret life remains.
The nuts are in good working order and function normally. The truss rods also function correctly for normal adjustments.
