Schecter Riot-5 Bass in Satin Inferno Burst

The Riot-5 delivers confident weight and balance in hand, with a neck that invites fast fretwork and smooth transitions across all five strings. The punchy, articulate tone cuts through any mix with characteristic midrange presence and tight low-end response, making it equally effective for aggressive metal riffs, grooving funk lines, or complex jazz passages. This is an instrument that rewards both aggressive players and finesse-focused bassists.

Playability & Feel

The 5-piece maple/walnut laminate neck with carbon-fiber reinforcement and thin C contour provides stability and comfort during extended playing sessions. A 35" scale paired with 24 narrow-jumbo frets on an ebony fingerboard with 16" radius enables rapid position shifts and precise intonation across the full range.

Tone & Electronics

The EMG 40JCSX bridge and 40PCSX neck pickups paired with an EMG B-30 3-band EQ running on 18v power deliver articulate, punchy response with extensive tonal shaping via master volume and blend controls. The swamp ash body with burl maple top and string-thru bridge design contribute to tight bass response and sustain.
