The PSR-SX620's Styles provide sophisticated automatic accompaniment that responds to your chords, giving you the foundation of a full ensemble while you concentrate on playing the melody, singing, or improvising.
From pop, rock, jazz, and country to world music and electronic styles, the PSR-SX620 gives you a huge musical palette to explore.
More Expression in Every Note
The PSR-SX620 goes beyond simply reproducing instrument sounds. Yamaha's Super Articulation (S.Art!) Voices are designed to capture characteristic playing techniques and articulations that help instruments sound more natural and convincing.
The result is greater realism and expression when performing guitar, brass, strings, and other instruments—helping your keyboard performances sound less like samples and more like real musicians playing together.
Hands-On Control for Live Performance
The PSR-SX620 is designed to keep you connected to your music rather than buried in menus.
The Joystick Controller gives you immediate control over pitch and modulation, making it easy to add expressive movement to your playing. Two assignable Live Control knobs provide additional real-time control over sounds, effects, and Style parameters.
This hands-on approach makes the PSR-SX620 particularly effective for live performance, where quick adjustments and immediate access to essential controls are critical.
Create Loops With the Chord Looper
The built-in Chord Looper adds another powerful creative tool. Record a chord progression, loop it, and then use your hands to focus on melody, improvisation, solos, or sound design.
It's an easy way to turn a simple idea into a layered musical performance without requiring additional equipment.
Powerful Sound From a Compact Cabinet
The PSR-SX620 delivers surprisingly big sound for its compact design.
Yamaha developed a new speaker system featuring an Internal BassPort and enlarged internal sound chamber to enhance low-frequency response and overall resonance. The front-facing bass reflex design helps deliver deeper, more powerful bass, while cabinet refinements contribute to a tighter and cleaner overall sound.
Whether you're practicing at home, entertaining guests, rehearsing, or performing for an audience, the PSR-SX620 delivers a confident, full-range sound without requiring an external speaker system.
Improved Line Out for Live Sound and Recording
When it's time to connect to a PA system, powered speakers, mixer, or recording setup, the PSR-SX620's upgraded audio output circuitry delivers a clearer and more powerful signal .
The improved Line Out performance helps preserve the detail and impact of your sounds when the keyboard becomes part of a larger sound system.
Expand Your Instrument With New Content
Your PSR-SX620 doesn't have to stop growing with the sounds and Styles included from the factory.
Expansion Packs let you add new musical content, including Voices and Styles representing different musical traditions and genres.
The new EXPANSION EXPLORER App makes finding additional content easier. Available for iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac , the app lets you browse, search, preview, and manage Expansion content from your compatible device.
Bluetooth® Audio Playback
Connect a compatible mobile device wirelessly via Bluetooth® Audio and play your favorite music through the PSR-SX620's built-in speaker system.
It's convenient for practicing along with backing tracks, learning songs, playing along with recordings, or simply enjoying your music through the keyboard's speakers.
Redesigned for Easier Operation
Yamaha completely redesigned the PSR-SX620's control panel to make the instrument easier and more enjoyable to operate.
Frequently used controls are positioned within easy reach, giving you faster access to Voices, Styles, performance controls, and sound-shaping functions. The streamlined layout is equally useful whether you're experimenting at home or performing live.
