The Gemini BRS-180: A Small Speaker With a Lot Going On
The Gemini Sound BRS-180 is a compact Bluetooth speaker built to live on a nightstand, desk, or kitchen counter. It combines wireless audio with a white noise machine and a soft night light, making it as much a bedtime companion as a music player. Pairing it with a phone unlocks a one-touch AI button that puts a voice assistant right at your fingertips, so daily tasks like checking the weather or setting a reminder don't require picking up your device. With 16 built-in sleep sounds and an 8-color RGB glow, the BRS-180 is designed to slot into almost any room and any routine, whether that means falling asleep to rain sounds or having a small, always-ready speaker for casual listening.

Hands-Free Convenience, Built In
At the top of the speaker sits an AI button that activates whatever voice assistant is already set up on a paired phone, compatible with both iPhone and Android devices. A single press lets you ask about the weather, skip a song, set a reminder, or trigger a smart-home routine, all without touching your phone. Bluetooth 5.3 keeps the connection stable up to 10 meters, and the speaker's LED clock automatically syncs time over Bluetooth whenever a paired phone is nearby, so daylight saving changes and travel don't leave the display off. The speaker also remembers your last-used sound, volume, and lighting settings, so it starts up exactly where you left it.
Sound for Sleeping and Everyday Listening
The BRS-180 stores 16 sleep sounds directly on the device, including white noise, rain, fan, and other ambient loops, so nothing needs to stream from a phone overnight. A built-in timer can be set to 15, 30, or 60 minutes, or left running until morning. For audio quality, the speaker uses a 50mm full-frequency driver powered by a Class D amplifier, delivering a frequency response of 70Hz–18kHz and a peak SPL of at least 70dB at one meter.
Lighting, Build, and Power
An 8-color RGB night light sits on top of the speaker, offering a single steady color or a slow cycle through the full range. It's designed to be bright enough to help you find your way at night while staying dim enough to sleep through. The enclosure combines ABS plastic with a fabric cover, and the speaker is available in White, Black, and Green. It runs on a rechargeable 3.7V/1500mAh lithium-ion battery, charged via USB-C at 5V/1A, and measures a compact 3.94" x 3.94" x 2.24" while weighing just 0.16 lbs.
Why We Love This
Our gear experts tend to like gear that stays out of the way until it's needed, and the BRS-180 fits that mold. Its one-touch AI button means hands-free access to reminders, timers, or smart-home routines during a session, without breaking focus to grab a phone. The compact 50mm driver and Class D amp make it a practical companion speaker for a practice space or studio corner, while the rechargeable battery keeps it untethered from outlets.
