Roland RE-201 Space Echo tape delay and spring reverb, made in Japan. Fully working and recently serviced.

The RE-201 combines a three-head tape echo with a spring reverb. The 12-position mode selector covers single and multi-head echo, echo with reverb, and reverb only. Controls include repeat rate, intensity, echo volume, reverb volume, bass and treble, plus two mic inputs and one instrument input with independent level controls, a From P.A. input, H/M/L output level switch, VU meter, peak level LED and footswitch jack for echo cancel.

Serial number 218142, which dates it to around 1982 using the commonly cited Roland serial chart. This is a 220V, 50/60Hz export unit with Danish, Norwegian and Swedish approval marks on the rear plate. It runs directly on UK and EU mains. US and Japanese buyers will need a step-down transformer.

Condition: tested and working on all modes. Tape transport, echo, reverb, and all controls, switches and jacks function as they should. Recently serviced. Cosmetically it shows normal wear for its age, mainly scuffing to the Tolex along the front edges. The faceplate and knobs are clean and complete. Please see the photos for exact condition.
