sE Electronics V Pack Club Standard
The sE Electronics V Pack Club Standard is a purpose-built drum microphone bundle designed for drummers, engineers, and live sound professionals who need reliable, high-quality microphone coverage without over-engineering the setup. Built around a curated selection of sE Electronics' most respected dynamic and condenser microphones, the V Pack Club Standard delivers professional results in a compact, road-ready package. Whether you're miking up a club stage, a rehearsal room, or a compact studio kit, this bundle gives you everything needed to capture a full, balanced drum sound straight out of the case.

A mic for every drum
At the heart of the V Pack Club Standard is a thoughtfully assembled lineup of microphones, each chosen for a specific role in the kit. The V KICK handles bass drum duties, engineered to capture ultra-powerful low-end and punch that translates clearly through a PA or into a mix. The V7 X — a supercardioid dynamic instrument microphone — is tailored specifically for snare, delivering the crack and snap that defines a great snare sound in a live or recording context. Two V BEAT microphones with V CLAMPS handle tom coverage, their compact form factor and off-axis rejection keeping bleed to a minimum while the fast-mounting clamp system gets them positioned and locked in seconds.
Overhead clarity from the sE7 stereo pair
Rounding out the bundle is a matched stereo pair of sE7 small-diaphragm pencil condenser microphones, included specifically for overhead use. Small-diaphragm condensers are the industry standard choice for drum overheads, prized for their detailed transient response and accurate stereo imaging. The sE7 pair brings that professional-grade clarity to the top of the kit, capturing cymbals, hi-hats, and the overall "air" of the drum sound with precision and consistency. Together with the dynamic mics below, the sE7s complete a full, three-dimensional picture of the kit.
Built for the road
Every component of the V Pack Club Standard ships inside a heavy-duty flight case — the same robust case included with the top-tier V Pack Arena. The case is designed not just to protect your investment during transport, but with forward-thinking practicality: there's extra room built in to accommodate an additional hi-hat microphone and an extra V BEAT when your miking needs grow. It's a bundle that's ready for the stage today and scalable for more demanding setups tomorrow.
Why We Love This
Our gear experts appreciate the V Pack Club Standard because it removes the guesswork from drum miking entirely. Every mic has a job, every job is covered, and the whole rig travels in one tough case. The fast-mounting V CLAMPS mean less time setting up and more time playing, while the sE7 overhead pair brings a level of clarity usually reserved for far more expensive rigs. It's a complete, coherent system built by people who understand how drums actually sound.
