BLX188/CVL — Wireless Dual Presenter System
The Shure BLX188/CVL is a wireless dual presenter system built for professional-quality sound with straightforward setup. Designed for two presenters or performers working simultaneously, the system pairs Shure's BLX wireless platform with two CVL lavalier microphones, letting users move freely without being tethered to a cable. It's available across multiple frequency bands (H10, H11, H9, and J11), so users can select the option that matches their region and regulatory requirements. Whether used on stage, in a conference room, or during a presentation, the BLX188/CVL is built to deliver dependable, professional audio with minimal technical fuss.

Audio Performance and Range
At its core, the BLX188/CVL is designed to let presenters and performers work with confidence, delivering professional Shure sound quality suited to a range of vocal needs. The system also offers an extended operating range of up to 300 feet (100 meters), giving users the freedom to move through a room or venue — including out into a crowd — without losing signal or interrupting the presentation or performance.
Easy Setup and Battery Life
Shure designed the BLX188/CVL to get users up and running quickly. A one-touch scan and selection feature simplifies the process of finding a clear, usable frequency, cutting down on setup time before a show or event. Once running, the system is built for longevity: each BLX transmitter draws power from a single pair of AA batteries and delivers up to 14 hours of battery life, allowing extended use across long events, multiple sessions, or back-to-back presentations without needing a battery change.
Expandability and What's Included
The BLX188/CVL is also built with growth in mind. Users can run up to 12 channels per frequency band (dependent on region and environment), making it possible to scale up for larger productions or multi-presenter setups without switching systems. Shure also offers a range of microphone options across its BLX product line, giving users flexibility to choose different capsules to suit their needs. Each BLX188/CVL system comes with a PS24 power supply, two windscreens, and two lavalier clips to support the included CVL microphones.
