Roland RE-201 Space Echo Tape Delay / Reverb 1974 - 1988 - Black
Our users rate Reverb
Roland RE 201 Space Echo with the early preamp. Unit has been recently serviced with premium EchoFix parts particularly:
New tape feed bearing
New pinch roller (see the green upgraded pinch roller)
New felts
New spring tension arm.
Tape heads have been demagnetised as well.
New Spring Reverb Tank (Original included)
The unit functions brilliantly, all modes work with no crackles, all inputs function, led lamp works. Unit self oscillates beautifully as it should. Strong repeats, minimal to no wow/flutter except whats expected from a tape unit.
Externally the unit is in fair condition, knobs are a bit faded, tolex is a bit torn in some places as shown, and some wear on the metal back latch as expected but it is brilliant internally and will run very reliably for many years.
